Isabela (Izzy) Tanashian (b. 1998) is a writer, editor, composer and producer based in NYC. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Music Composition at The Juilliard School, where she spent the majority of her time developing a unique voice influenced by the sonic capabilities of electronic music. In 2021, she created an experimental multimedia short film which was presented at Juilliard’s “Beyond the Machine” production. After this experience, she began working with filmmakers to create soundtracks for their films.

Izzy has always been passionate about creative writing, a pastime she revisited after graduating college alongside a burgeoning love of cinema. To date, she has completed two short screenplays which showcase her keen interest in liminality, surrealism, and the subconscious. One of these screenplays, Immortal She, is currently in production and will culminate in her directorial debut. She is currently working on her first feature-length screenplay, Still Against the Boundaries of Heaven.
